FOREIGN EXPERIENCE:
  • Worked at Guy’s Hospital, London, as a visiting fellow for a period of little more than six months in 1989. Got exposure to vast field of modern imaging, with special attention to Neuroradiology, small part Ultrasonography, Peripheral Colour Doppler, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography and CT scanning.
  • This Hospital is a national referral centre for congenital anomalies and nephrology. The Acting Director of the Dept. Dr. A. J. S. Saunders is a world known personality for his work in Renal Ultrasound and Uroradiology.
  • I have also attended a few teaching sessions arranged for me by Dr. Saunders in various hospitals, such as King’s College Hospital, London, Royal Marsden Hospital, Sutton, Royal Free Hospital, Queen’s Square Neurology Centre and Hospital for sick children, London.
  • I have worked as a visiting fellow in UCSF at San Francisco for a period of two weeks in December 1993. Here, I have attended advanced training course in Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Imaging and spiral CT.
  • I have also attended RSNA, 1993, 2004 and 2005 in Chicago.

    - Cornell University New York for Peripheral MR Angiography

ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE:
  • Responsible for organizing weekly radiology meetings, making museum entries of interesting cases and arranging interdepartmental rotation of junior residents while working as resident registrar at Nair Hospital.
  • Involved in the setting up of the MRI Department at Nanavati Superspeciality Hospital and am overlooking its smooth functioning for the last 24 years. Also I have, set up the Mammography and BMD machines within this centre and am also responsible for their satisfactory working, for the last 18 years.
